Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Glenmore Park Football Club will be held on Monday 18th November 2024, 7pm, location TBA.

Executive Committee Nominations

In accordance with the GPFC Constitution, the following Executive Committee roles will become vacant with the calls for nominations of persons wishing to apply

• President
• Secretary

As per clause 15.2 of the GPFC Constitution, all nominations must be:

• In writing
• On the prescribed form (here)
• Signed by two Individual Members
• Certified by the nominee (who must be a member) expressing their willingness to accept the position for which they are nomination
• Delivered to the Club Secretary not less than ten (10) days before the date fixed for the annual general meeting (no later than 5pm Friday 8th November).

Notice of Motion

Members entitled to vote may submit notices of motion for inclusion as special business at a general meeting. All notices of motion must be submitted in writing to the club no less than ten (10) days, excluding receiving date and meeting date, prior to the general meeting (no later than 5pm Friday 8th November 2024).

Life Member Nominations

Life Membership nominations are also called for and can be submitted in writing to the club no later than 5pm Friday 1st November 2024.

When considering whether to recommend a member for eligibility to become a Life Member, the Board should consider that the nominee has:

• Minimum of twenty (20) years membership as a Playing Member and made a substantial contribution to the Club as agreed by the relevant Subcommittee and the Management Committee; or
• Made a substantial contribution to the Club as an Honorary Member of the Club in the capacity as a member of the Management Committee (or a previous Management Committee), or one of the Club’s Sub-Committees, for at least seven (7) years; or
• Been a Coach or Manager of any of the Club’s teams, for at least fifteen (15) years and made a substantial contribution to the Club as agreed by the relevant Sub-Committee and the Management Committee; or
• Made an outstanding contribution to the Club for the last fifteen (15) years as agreed by the relevant Sub-Committee and the Management Committee
