Registrations will open for the 2025 season on January 6th closing 2nd February.
This season we are moving back to registering through Play Football, this is a Football Australia mandate for all clubs. Dribl will remain our competition management system, with all fixtures, team sheets and other competition information through the app as usual.
PLAY FOOTBALL – For those who have played, coached, managed previously you will most likely have an account with Play Football already. Once you log into your account, you will need to link yourself and others (children, other family members) as needed. Recommend linking yourself first if you have had a previous registration, it doesn’t make a difference if a child is linked first, they will just be the main profile displayed and then you continue to link others in the Family Management tab.
This is the link to Play Football. For any issues, they have support available each day to either call or log a ticket, please see their support page.
FEES – Fee details can be found here, early bird fee option finishes on Tuesday 28th January 2025.
PAYMENTS – With the move to Play Football, there have been changes to payment requirements. The FA/FNSW/NFA fees must be paid through Play Football at the time of registering, please note there is a payment fee calculated within Play Football and the club is unable to waive this. For those who want to transfer the remaining GPFC fee portion, that is still available, we have the details in our fee structure.
ACTIVE KIDS VOUCHER – The Active Kids Voucher must be applied within Play Football when registering, there is a step where you can add a voucher.
FAMILY DISCOUNT – GPFC provides a discount of $50 for each registration from the 3rd registration onwards. Please complete the Family Discount form here, we will refund the discount after round 3 when the registration and payment period has settled.
PHOTOS – Please make sure your photo is a recent one, taken within the last 6 months. Photos must be passport style with a plain background, basically a head & shoulders shot against a plain wall! Photos that will be rejected include black & white, wearing a hat or sunglasses, group photos, cropped blurry photos, photo of a photo, side on photos, selfies or with a plain background.
IDENTIFICATION – All new players to GPFC or those returning after a season or more away must have their ID checked. Suitable ID is the original birth certificate, passport or driver’s licence. We will announce dates and times for this at a later date, ID cannot be emailed or sent over messenger to the club.
GIRLS ONLY COMPS – From U8 onwards NFA run girls only competitions, this encourages girls to play soccer longer and there has been a large amount of work put in to developing these competitions. To support this, unless specifically requested or when teams are full, all girls will be placed into a girls only team to play in the girls only comps.
TEAM REQUESTS – During the registration process in Dribl you are able to request to stay with the same team or to play with a friend. NOTE we do our best to accommodate requests but there will be times where we are unable to meet them and returning players will take preference when forming teams.
PLAYING UP A YEAR – GPFC keeps players in the correct age group for their age i.e turning 8 will be U8. Exceptions to this are in the girls only teams and in the older junior teams (U14 up) due to numbers required to form teams. Please be mindful of this when registering to avoid disappointment.
CADET/CLUB REFS – You will register through Dribl, similar process to a player registration, please follow the Play Football steps if you don’t have an FFA number. Club Refs will need a Working With Chidren Check (WWCC) see below for where to find the information on that.
Due to the set up by Football Australia within Play Football, Cadet Refs have a mandatory section for a WWCC as well. The only way to get around this is to Play Football either need to request an exemption to this (unable to obtain U18) or put in a 10 digit number. Any issues when completing this step, please email compsec@glenmoreparkfootball.com.au or message us via the club Facebook page.
COACHES & MANAGERS – Please see the registration page for these roles as the requirements for the WWCC is detailed there.
UNIFORMS – Jerseys are provided for all players and returned to the club at the end of the season. All players in U5 and U8 and new players in U6 and U7 will receive shorts and socks as part of their registration fee. Those needing to purchase shorts, socks or other merchandise like jackets and jumpers can do so online through our supplier Team Spirit.
Any difficulties with registering please email compsec@glenmoreparkfootball.com.au, if waiting for a return email, please check junk/spam as they sometimes go there!
